In March 2001, SHD's Gisborne's Zen (Gizzie J.) was awarded American Ferret Association's HIGHEST AWARD - FERRET OF THE YEAR for 2000, and in Aug 2001 she went AFA Championship Gold Level
SHD's Dallas of The Hobbitry won the Best in Alter at the AFA Spring show in York, PA in March 2002
Sundowner's Pinot Noir has received several 1st places including two at the Baltimore show in 2004
SHD's Cassis Bordeaux got a Best in Show at the Fandango in May 2005 and a Best Opposite at the AFA Winter Nationals Dec 2005

AFA Ferret of the Year

To receive Ferret of the Year, a ferret must be shown in at least four AFA-sanctioned shows in a given year in that particular class. In Title Classes, ferrets are judged by structure, maintenance, and disposition. The ferret that does overall best in points and placement is awarded the Ferret of the Year in that class.

Best Opposite, & First Place

Best in Show is awarded at each show. Best Opposite is awarded to a ferret of the opposite sex as the ferret who won Best in Show. I can't begin to post all the pictures and many of them don't have professional photos. But I'm proud of all their accomplishments. Many of them are gone but not forgotten.
